SoHostel Implements Brand New Z-Hotelcard

Hotel owners are aware of the complicated relationship with Online Travel Agencies. OTA’s have huge online marketing power and reach. However, they also replace the role of an important contact for hotel guests. Despite these developing collaborations, direct bookings continue to be very important for a hotel's turnover.

SoHostel decided to offer a 10% discount on the next stay and to encourage online reviews through TripAdvisor, to stimulate direct bookings. By placing the content in purposely selected places and integrating a QR code it made it very easy for guests to get in touch directly. 

To get their guests spending more money inside the property, SoHostel advertised their happy hour and rooftop bar plus coffee shop and food offerings. An application was also made to download their live event and performance programme and other special offers.

What’s more, to inform their guests about the highlights in London, Z-CARD integrated a Z-MAPS® with the Top 10 sightseeing locations and the directions on the London Underground.

All in all,  the all-in-one solution served to create a great looking, concise, memorable, moneymaking keycard holder and pocket concierge that has shown 25% repeat business from the direct booking code.
